Harry Kibler of RINO Hunt, speaking in Greenville on Dec. 7, calls for an end to local earmarks being handed out by Greenville County Council members.
“When you get to be the guy that delivers the ‘Publisher’s Clearinghouse Check’ … you become the hero,” Kibler said. “That’s why it’s an earmark.” If an organization needs more funding, it should show why it needs more funding and then get more money the right way, rather than through the back door, through earmarks, he added.
