Lexington Allocates Funds for Connector Road

Lexington County Council discusses allocating $150,000 for the construction of a road in Chapin to connect Amicks Ferry Road to Old Lexington Road at a recent council meeting.

Several developers have shown repeated interest in putting a grocery store and outparcels, according to the county. The total estimated cost for the quarter-mile stretch of road is $480,000.
